See? I can help anyone!

A few weeks ago, I asked readers over on my Facebook page whether or not anyone would be interested in working with me, one-on-one, to solve some kitchen-based challenges in their lives.  I’d been invited to submit an article to an online publication, and the editor had suggested doing a profile of a family who benefited from my help.  Within just minutes of me making the approach, I had a flood of emails from people asking me to choose them.  Turns out, there are a lot of us who feel like things in the kitchen/family feeding department aren’t quite what we’d like them to be.

I chose a family and have been working with them — and, I’m happy to report, things are going well, and the article should be coming out soon.  But the experience has sparked something that I’ve been considering for a long time, and am finally ready to do.  So tonight is a big night around here.  Tonight, I’m making a major announcement in the life of Red, Round, or Green: I’m launching the Red, Round, or Green Kitchen Coaching program.

Don’t worry — I’m still going to write the blog!  We’re still going to have features like Monday Menus and Lunch Logic and I’m still going to do all the things here that I’ve always done.  But I’ve realized that there are so many people out there who could really use additional help making their family meal experiences more satisfying and less stressful, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution that I could ever publish here.  Families who want to do better deserve the benefits of individualized attention and customized goals and strategies that are designed just for them and their unique challenges.  And that’s where I come in.

Starting tonight, you can sign up to be a part of one of my three inaugural programs, each targeting a different area that you may be struggling with.  There’s help for lunch-packing (yours or the kids’); family dinners and overall mealtime stress; and even a weekly CSA coaching subscription, to help you figure out how to use and preserve all the items that come in your produce box.  I hope that if you’re finding yourself challenged in any of these areas, you’ll consider becoming a part of the program — and that you’ll pass the information along to friends and family members who might benefit from a personal kitchen coach.  Let’s work together to minimize the stress and maximize the satisfaction of family mealtimes!
